BAMBUM USA FAQ

Bamboo toilet paper, answered.

Product facts, the founding list, pricing, delivery and laboratory-report scope for the United States.

The paper

What the American edition is, how it is made and what is left out.

What is BAMBUM made from?

BAMBUM begins as 100% bamboo pulp. The composition is supported by stamped manufacturer documentation rather than an independent fibre-identification test.

What are the American edition specifications?

The American edition is three-ply with 350 sheets per roll.

Is fragrance or dye added?

No added fragrance. No added dye. The manufacturer confirmed both in writing.

Is BAMBUM unbleached?

No. The pulp mill documents controlled ECF and hydrogen-peroxide bleaching for consistent colour; no elemental chlorine is used in the production process.

Where is BAMBUM made?

The paper is produced through our manufacturing supply chain in China and shipped to the United States. The SGS reports on the Laboratory Testing page identify that manufacturer.

Packs and prices

How to choose between the two pack sizes and where prices are shown.

Should I choose 12 or 48 rolls?

Choose 12 rolls for a smaller restock or a lower first commitment. Choose 48 rolls for longer household coverage and the lower price per roll. Actual duration depends on household use, so BAMBUM does not promise a fixed number of weeks.

What are the American prices?

Prices are shown in US dollars on the product page. Final American pricing is confirmed before the first boxes ship, and founding-list members receive that invitation first.

Do I have to subscribe?

No. Both packs are listed as one-time purchases as well as monthly or every-two-month subscriptions. Ordering opens by invitation once the first American stock is ready to ship.

The founding list

How the email list and the first American boxes work.

What is the founding list?

An email list, nothing more. No card and no charge today. Leave your email and we write when boxes are ready to ship in the United States; you then decide whether to order.

When will the first American boxes ship?

The first American stock is in transit. We publish a date only once boxes are physically in the United States and ready to ship, and the founding list hears first.

What is the two-roll trial?

Founding members are invited first to try two rolls free once boxes land. The full trial terms, including any automatic subscription and its timing, are shown in writing before anything ships.

Can I order right now?

Not yet. American checkout, delivery and returns open together once the first boxes are in the country. Until then the product page is a preview and the founding list holds your place.

Delivery and support

What is confirmed about US delivery today, and how support works.

What will delivery cost in the United States?

Delivery terms are confirmed on the product page and at checkout before you pay, once American ordering opens. Nothing is added after checkout.

How will I know when an order ships?

You receive an order confirmation at checkout and a shipping confirmation with a tracking link once the order is on its way.

What if my order arrives damaged, wrong or missing?

Email support@bambum.us with your order number. For damaged, defective or incorrect orders, write within 14 days of delivery and include a photo; the published refund and return policy offers a replacement or a refund, and the item does not need to be sent back.

How can I contact the American team?

Write to support@bambum.us or use the contact page. A real person reads each note.

Testing

What the published SGS reports record and what their limits are.

Read the laboratory results
What do the SGS reports show?

On manufacturer-supplied paper samples, SGS recorded 545 PFAS compounds not detected; formaldehyde not detected; BPA and BPS not detected; and eight named heavy metals not detected. The report numbers, dates and sample scope are listed on the Laboratory Testing page.

Does not detected mean there is none?

No. Not detected means the measured result was below that laboratory method’s detection limit for the submitted sample. It is not a claim of mathematical zero, a test of every possible substance or a guarantee about every roll.

Why do the reports name the manufacturer instead of BAMBUM?

The finished-paper samples were submitted at manufacturing level, so the reports identify the manufacturer. The evidence supports the named sample results through BAMBUM’s documented supply relationship; no SGS report names the BAMBUM retail brand.
